Every photo tells a story.
I’m fascinated by people and what makes them get out of bed every morning. I love to photograph artists and artisans, makers, chefs, musicians, farmers, actors, professionals, families, and interesting people everywhere who are pursuing their passions.
“Dynamic portraits” is a term I use for the kind of photo I shoot that captures a story, a spirit of life or movement, a kernel of truth, or a moment in time. I use studio lighting to capture — and maybe amplify — reality, people, passion, life.
I like to take a moment and turn the volume up a little.
