Models needed — this means you!
I'm always on the lookout for new faces and interesting people! You may think you need to be absurdly tall, bizarrely thin, and have flawless teeth to model for a professional photographer, but that's not the case. I love to work with people who are comfortable with themselves, and who are able to relax and have fun in front of the camera. In my experience, people with personality photograph better than people with Colgate smiles. And if you're really after perfection, there's always retouching.
I've worked with all kinds of models and actors and people who wouldn't consider themselves to be either, from kids and teenagers to people who have been in front of the camera for decades. The best and most productive photo shoots are invariably the ones where everyone is having a good time. I think of photography as a process — shoots are always more fun if everyone is involved through contributing ideas. I am expanding my stock photography through TFCD or TFP work, and I always have a few different shoots on the go or up my sleeve. Check out the stock page for more information about stock photography. If you're interested in doing something different or have ideas of your own, I'd love to hear from you.
Check out some of my work with models in the People section of the Galleries; feel free to take a look at my Model Mayhem page as well. If you have any questions or you think you might be interested in modelling, then get in touch!
Time for CD and Time for Print are two versions of the same process: both involve the photographer paying a model or another person involved with the shoot, such as a makeup artist, for his or her time through digital or physical photos. This arrangement benefits everyone involved. The copyright of the images still belongs to the photographer; the model can use the photos in a portfolio or for promotional purposes but cannot sell them. I always provide models with a wide variety high-resolution, professionally retouched images for their use. Whether you're an aspring model hoping to start your portfolio, a veteran of the catwalk hoping to update your book, an actor looking for headshots, or just somone looking for group or single portraits or a photo session for a specific purpose, TFCD is the best way to go to avoid paying hundreds of dollars for a photo shoot.
